Bernard Wah: 
 
Bernard Wah started drawing at 10 years old. He studied ceramics and sculpture at the Ceramics Center. At 17, he was teaching decoration and sculpture, around that time, he became interested in art and music; he composed songs, wrote poetry as well. In 1961, the government he was assigned to restore public gardens and cultural centers. He contributed to the murals of the capital's airport and founded the School of Plastic Arts. In 1963, he created the Calfou Art Center open to poets, musicians, painters, and playwrights. As recipient of a scholarship from the French Institute, Wah left for France in 1965. He exhibited his work there on two occasions. In 1966, he settled in New York in order to pursue his studies. From 1967 to 1978 he work was exhibited in several countries including the US and Canada.
